Tim & Sarah Richmond

The Richmond family has been ministering in Brooklyn at Bethel Baptist Fellowship as an Assistant Pastor for the past two years. They are confident that the Lord will plant a church in Queens, NY and are looking forward to see Him work through them. They have enjoyed getting acquainted with the many different cultures of the city. Sarah and Tim have three daughters Hannah Sophia, Lydia Joy, and Charlotte Hope. Tim graduated from Bob Jones University with a Master of Divinity and was ordained at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Greenville, SC (www.mountcalvarybaptist.org).  

"The Lord placed a burden on my heart for the Nations in NYC over seven years ago and has continually increased my desire to see His name glorified among the people of this city to this day. There is no other place on earth where more people have gathered from the nations of the world. It is our desire to see a Word based, Christ focused, disciple-making church in the middle of the nations of the world.”

John and his wife Sarah moved to NYC June, 2008 to assist the Richmonds with the planting of Grace Baptist Church . John works full-time in Manhattan to support his family while ministering at GBC. He graduated from Bob Jones University with a Master of Divinity and was ordained at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Greenville , SC. John and Sarah have a son (Caleb) and daughter (Felicity). They find joy in laboring to see people changed by the gospel.

"Through a series of visits and internships in NYC the Lord clearly called and burdened me to minister in the city for His glory. Whenever I consider the city I am reminded about how many people do not have an understanding of the grace of God that can save sinners. My desire is to see the Lord build His church in the city through the faithful proclamation of His Word."
