Thursday, June 10th – God’s point of view on ‘Spirituality’
In our culture being religious is frowned upon; but being spiritual is praised. What is being spiritual according to the Bible? Can anyone become ‘spiritual?’ How can someone be spiritual according to the Bible?
Thursday, June 17th – God’s point of view on evil
The problem of evil has baffled minds for centuries. Why do bad things happen to me? How could God be good and allow me to go through such difficulties? Couldn’t God stop this pain in my life? What is God’s point of view on evil?
Thursday, June 24th – God’s point of view on Israel
How does God view the land of Israel? Is it a special place on earth? In what way does modern Israel and its landscape reflect biblical teaching? Come and enjoy pictures of Israel and hear how God is still using Israel in His purposes.
Thursday, July 1st – God’s point of view on Jesus
"Was Jesus just an extraordinary man? A political revolutionary? One of many prophets? Did he claim to be God? Was he really unique? Why did he say he came to earth? Why does the life and death of Jesus matter to us today? And most importantly, what does God think about Jesus?"
Thursday, July 8th – God’s point of view on earth’s origin
Does the Bible teach that the world was created or is there room for evolution? During this lesson we will examine the Biblical teaching and share five holes in the theory of macroevolution.
Thursday, July 15th – God’s point of view on the Bible
What is the Bible’s view of itself? We will examine its claims and then examine external evidence to see if what it claims is supported by facts. Can you trust the Bible? Does it include any error?
Thursday, July 22nd – God’s point of view on life after death
Have you ever sat up at night and wondered if there was anything after death? What does the Bible say happens after someone dies?
Thursday, July 29th – God's point of view on morality
Is there right and wrong? Does God tell people what how He wants them to live?
Thursday, August 5th – God’s Point of View on Truth and Tolerance
What is truth? Are there objective principals that do not change? When Jesus said He was the “Way the Truth and the Life” did that mean He was claiming to be the one way to heaven? How does religious tolerance effect Christ’s claims?
